In field testing with a major power company, AMP21™ slowed the softening of full-size, untreated southern yellow pine stubs that had been allowed to begin to decay (First field trial) and when applied at the time of installation (Second field trial). The Pilodyn is a penetrometer that penetrates more deeply as wood softens.
