Developed in collaboration with scientists at the University of North Carolina, we offer several wood preservative products tailored to specific applications. Each is a natural carbon source encased in a time release delivery system. As the delivery system biodegrades, the carbon source is released. Carbon source amendment accelerates oxygen depletion in wet conditions and encourages the growth of bacteria. These two effects limit the growth of wood decay fungi and create soil conditions unfavorable for decay. The result is an easy to apply product that extends the lifetime of your wooden structures with no environmental liability from harmful or toxic chemical residues.
